According to multiple national college basketball analysts, the exact time of today’s expected college decision from top-rated Class of 2016 recruit Josh Jackson is set for 7:30 p.m.
That, according to reports, is the time when Jackson will reveal on Twitter his college of choice from finalists Arizona, Kansas and Michigan State.
Jackson’s Twitter handle is: @j_josh11
Many recruiting analyst seem to be expecting Jackson, a 6-foot-7, 201-pound wing player from Prolific Prep High in Napa, Calif., to pick Kansas, where he likely would slide right into the third guard spot vacated by Wayne Selden, who last month announced his intentions to enter the NBA Draft.
During his final season at Prolific Prep Jackson averaged 26.9 points, 13.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game and is listed on Chad Ford’s 2017 NBA mock draft on ESPN.com as the No. 1 overall pick.
If Kansas lands Jackson, who originally grew up in Detroit, he would become the second top-rated prospect to pick the Jayhawks in the past four years, joining Andrew Wiggins, who played at KU in 2013-14, was drafted No. 1 overall by Cleveland in the 2014 NBA Draft and just recently became the fourth youngest player in NBA history to eclipse the 3,000-point mark.
