Kansas baseball tops Michigan

Kansas University’s baseball team snapped a three-game losing streak Friday with a 6-5 victory over Michigan at Hoglund Ballpark.

Senior Connor McKay and sophomore Michael Tinsley had three hits apiece to account for six of the Jayhawks’ 10 base knocks. McKay homered to give Kansas a 6-4 edge in the sixth.

Kansas (7-11) will play Michigan (10-7) again at 2 p.m. today at Hoglund Ballpark.
