KU’s McCuin winner in 600

? Kansas University senior Kenneth McCuin won the men’s 600-yard run, and the Jayhawks’ men’s and women’s track and field teams both placed sixth Saturday at the Big 12 Indoor.

McCuin ran a winning time of 1:09.21 in the 600.

Among the other highlights for KU was a third-place finish by James Wilson in the 3,000 meters.

For the KU women, Anastasiya Muchkayev placed second in the shot put, and Whitney Adams took third in the 600.

Texas won both the men’s and women’s team titles.
