Morgan first in 3,000 meters

? Kansas University’s Jacob Morgan won the invitational 3,000 meters Saturday at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

KU’s Nashia Baker, Kelli McKenna and Alaina Schroeder placed 1-2-3 in the women’s mile.

Both of KU’s 4×400-meter relay teams claimed victories. Adriana Newell, Zainab Sanni, Whitney Adams and Rhavean King won the women’s race, and Kenneth McCuin, Tre Daniels, Jaime Wilson and Michael Stigler combined to take the men’s championship.
