Mary Jo Firnbach is joining the Kansas University softball program as associate head coach, head coach Megan Smith announced Friday.
Before arriving at KU, Firnbach spent the last eight seasons at Texas A&M as associate head coach.
Firnbach spent seven seasons as head coach at Syracuse University before heading to Texas A&M. At helm of the Orange, Firnbach compiled an overall record of 174-169-1.
