KU baseball moves series

By Staff Reports     Feb 26, 2014

Kansas University’s scheduled baseball home opener has been moved away from home, but KU still will be considered the “home” team.

Due to wintry weather forecast this weekend, KU will face Houston Baptist University in a four-game series Friday-Sunday in Grand Prairie, Texas. Originally, Kansas was to host North Dakota and Houston Baptist in the Salty Iguana Classic at Hoglund Ballpark.

The teams will play a single game at 1 p.m. Friday, a doubleheader at noon Saturday and a single game at noon Sunday.
