Woodland misses cut at PGA

Louisville, Ky. — Former Kansas University golfer Gary Woodland shot a second straight 1-over-par 72 at the PGA Championship on Friday and missed the cut by one stroke.

Woodland’s two-day total of 144 put him in a tie for 75th place. The top 70 golfers, plus ties, advanced to the third round.
