Kansas University senior pitcher Jordan Piche’ was named the Big 12 Conference’s Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Piche’ threw a one-hit shutout in a complete-game, 1-0 victory over Baylor on Friday in Waco, Texas. Piche’ allowed his lone hit on the first at-bat of the game and kept the Bears’ bats silent the rest of the way.
The Jayhawks travel to Wichita to face Wichita State today before returning to host Texas Tech for a weekend series.
