Baylor ends KU tennis season

? Kansas University’s tennis season ended with a 4-0 loss to Baylor in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championships on Friday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

Top-seeded Baylor (22-6, 9-0) won the doubles points with lopsided 8-2, 8-3 victories at Nos. 1 and 2, then rolled to similarly lopsided victories at No. 1 (6-0, 6-1), No. 2 (6-2, 6-2) and No. 5 (6-0, 6-3) singles to improve to 20-4 all-time over Kansas (12-12, 2-7).

Baylor advances to the semifinals, questing for a seventh consecutive Big 12 crown.
