Lubbock, Texas ? Kansas University’s tennis team suffered its fifth straight loss and third shutout in its last five Big 12 matches on Friday, a 7-0 loss to Texas Tech at the McLeod Tennis Center.
KU’s only win of the match came at No. 1 doubles, where seniors Paulina Los and Dylan Windom beat Tech’s Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo, 8-6.
But the 34th-ranked Red Raiders (15-7 overall, 5-3 Big 12) won the other doubles matches for the doubles points and swept singles.
KU (11-9, 2-5) will travel Sunday to face Texas Christian University.
