Kansas softball one-hit by OU

? The Oklahoma softball team limited Kansas University to one hit on Friday, handing the Jayhawks their first Big 12 loss of the season, 9-0 in five innings.

Kansas (28-11, 3-1 Big 12) fell behind 2-0 in the first inning after OU hit its first of three home runs. Kelsey Kessler (17-8) took the loss for KU, while OU starter Kelsey Stevens (18-5) went all five innings for the victory.

The Jayhawks and Sooners will wrap up the series today with a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Sunday’s finale was moved up because of expected weather in the Norman area.
