After several weeks of late morning and early afternoon kickoffs, the Kansas University football team will play under the lights again on Oct. 26.
That’s the week the Jayhawks will host the unbeaten Baylor Bears and, when they do, they’ll kick off at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
The game will be televised by ESPNU and will mark the second straight week that the KU football team appears on the ESPN family of networks. The Jayhawks (2-3 overall, 0-2 Big 12) play host to Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and that game will be shown on ESPN.
The KU-Baylor match-up will be KU’s first appearance on ESPNU.
Kansas leads the all-time series versus the Bears 4-2 in games played in Lawrence. Baylor edged KU, 31-30, in overtime in the last meeting at Memorial Stadium in 2011. The Jayhawks won the previous three match-ups between the two teams on their home field.
