The Kansas University men’s and women’s cross country teams, which each placed fifth at Friday’s NCAA Midwest regional, were not selected as at-large qualifiers for the national championships.
KU’s lone representative at Saturday’s race will be Reid Buchanan, who placed 12th in the men’s 10K on Friday to earn the final individual-qualifier spot.
