KU women’s golf tied for eighth

Kansas University’s Thanuttra Boonraksasat shot a 1-over 73 in her opening round and is tied for seventh, and KU is tied for eighth in the team race after a full first and partial second round Monday of the Briar’s Creek Invitational at the Golf Club of Briar’s Creek. Second-round play was suspended with about six holes remaining and will continue at 7:15 this morning.

Other KU scores: Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, tied for 23rd, 79; Meghan Potee, tied for 31st, 78; Minami Levonowich, tied for 35th, 79; and Gabby DiMarco, 96th, 89. Three teams are tied for the lead at 305. KU is tied for eighth at 309.
