Kansas cancels softball opener

By Staff Reports     Mar 21, 2013

Kansas University softball will have to wait a little longer to open the home portion of its schedule. The Jayhawks’ doubleheader today against Missouri State has been canceled because of forecasted inclement weather.

A decision about a makeup date between KU (21-7) and Missouri State (10-14) has not been reached.

The Jayhawks have spent the first six weeks and 28 games of the season on the road. Kansas will host ninth-ranked Texas on March 28-30.
