Kansas University freshman soccer player Ashley Williams earned Big 12 Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Week awards, the league announced Tuesday.
Williams scored two goals in a 3-0 victory against Creighton on Friday and leads the Big 12 conference in 2012 with five.
KU soccer hosts Missouri State at 5 p.m. Friday.
