Columbia, Mo. ? Kansas University’s 20-game softball winning streak has turned into a three-game losing streak.
Missouri swept the Jayhawks, 5-0 and 9-0, on Sunday.
Combined with a 10-0 shutout loss Friday in the series opener, the Jayhawks were outscored 24-0 over the weekend.
The Jayhawks managed just seven hits in the three games combined.
KU (20-5 overall, 0-3 Big 12) had just two hits in Sunday’s nightcap. No. 12 Missouri (20-3, 3-0) had seven hits in each game Sunday.
Kansas’s previously scheduled doubleheader at Missouri State on Tuesday has been moved to March 27 because of weather. Instead, the Jayhawks will host Oklahoma State at 5 p.m. on March 23.
