? The Kansas University softball team’s 20-game winning streak came to an abrupt end Friday as the Jayhawks managed just one hit and lost, 10-0, at No. 12 Missouri.

Tigers All-American Chelsea Thomas pitched 52/3 innings in the run-ruled, six-inning Big 12 Conference opener for both teams. Thomas struck out four, walked none and allowed KU’s only hit on a single by Rosie Hull in the fifth inning.

Kansas starting pitcher Morgan Druhan, who was 6-0 entering the game, picked up her first loss after she allowed four hits and six runs — four earned — in just 11/3 innings. Druhan also walked three Missouri players and was replaced on the mound by Kristin Martinez, who didn’t fare much better in 41/3 innings. Martinez gave up five hits, four runs and two walks in relief.

The Jayhawks (20-3) and the Tigers (18-3) will play again at 2 p.m. today at University Field.
