Thanuttra Boonraksasat carded a final-round 72 at Weston Hills Country Club Tuesday to finish the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge with a three-round score of 4-over par, the best individual finish of any Kansas women’s golfer. She finished eighth at Louisville’s tournament, and Kansas fell one spot on the final day to end the tournament in a tie for ninth place (with Big 12 foe Missouri) with a team score of 919.
KU’s Katy Nugent finished just seven strokes behind Boonraksasat, carding a 5-over par 77, making her three-day total 227 which put her in a tie for 23rd.
