Frank Duncan, Kansas baseball drop UT

? Frank Duncan threw a complete-game three-hitter — retiring 20 batters in a row and recording a career-high 11 strikeouts — as Kansas University stunned No. 23 Texas, 7-2, in Big 12 baseball on Friday at Disch-Falk Field.

Duncan (4-5) allowed just one earned run and walked none as KU ran its winning streak to four, tying its best streak of the season and improving to 16-23 overall, 4-9 in the Big 12. UT fell to 21-14, 9-4.

Kevin Kuntz and Zac Elgie each had two hits for KU. Kuntz tripled and recorded four two-out RBIs.

The series will continue at 7 tonight.
