Norman, Okla. ? Kansas University senior Jordan Scott repeated as Big 12 champion in the pole vault Saturday at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
Scott cleared the vault at 5.38 meters, becoming the first athlete in Big 12 history to claim three outdoor titles in that event.
The Kansas men sat in fourth place in the team standings, while the KU women were in sixth place after Day 2.
KU sophomore thrower Mason Finley repeated as Big 12 Outdoor shot put champion with a winning toss of 19.63 meters. Finley, the NCAA leader in the shot put, claimed his third overall Big 12 title.
