Augusta, Ga. ? Former Kansas University pitcher Brett Bochy has completed his extended spring training assignment with the San Francisco Giants organization and has been added to the Augusta GreenJackets’ roster.
Bochy, who was drafted by the Giants in the 20th round of the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft, had Tommy John surgery on April 8, 2010, and missed the final two months of his junior season. Bochy finished his KU career with a 7-0 record with a 3.52 earned-run average and 106 strikeouts in 77 innings.
The Class A GreenJackets are 12-22.
