Tucson, Ariz. ? Kansas University’s women’s golf team sat in 17th place after the first two rounds of the MountainView Collegiate on Friday.
KU junior Katy Nugent and senior Meghna Bal were tied for 58th individually at 154. Both shot a 76 in round one and a 78 in round two.
Iowa State led the tournament at 569. KU finished Friday at 616.
The tournament will conclude today.
