Kansas men’s golf sixth

? The Kansas University men’s golf team sat in sixth place after severe thunderstorms and a tornado warning stopped play at the Fairway Club Invitational on Monday.

The Jayhawks were scheduled to play two rounds, but finished a round and a half.

KU’s 298 trailed leader UMKC by 13 strokes. KU will resume its second round at 8 a.m. today.
