Due to forecasted inclement weather, Kansas University has altered its weekend softball schedule. Instead of playing single games today and Sunday, KU will host a doubleheader with Iowa State at noon today. It will be the regular-season finale for both teams.
The Jayhawks’ “Bark in the Park” promotion — originally scheduled for Sunday — will be today. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the games. Dogs will be admitted with a donation to the Lawrence Humane Society. The Lawrence Humane Society wish list includes cash, paper towels, bleach, cat litter and pet toys.
