Kansas University junior relief pitcher Brett Bochy was named on Wednesday to this week’s National All-Star Lineup by the College Baseball Foundation.
It’s the first time a Jayhawk made the national weekly honor roll this season.
Bochy, a fourth-year junior from Poway, Calif., earned a pair of saves in KU’s series victory over No. 1-ranked LSU this past weekend. He became the sixth Jayhawk pitcher in the last three seasons to earn the distinction, joining Shaeffer Hall, Paul Smyth (twice) and T.J. Walz (twice).
