The KU football program received some good news Wednesday when it learned Aldine (Texas) High defensive end Julius Green had committed to Kansas.
Green, 6-foot-7, 245 pounds, will be on campus this summer and will be eligible to play this fall.
Green was an all-area and all-district selection in 2009. He chose KU over Louisiana Tech and Iowa State and was a late addition to KU coach Turner Gill’s Class of 2010 because he took the SAT test later than most.
