Thirteen members of the Kansas University swimming and diving team were named to the first or second Academic All-Big 12 teams on Tuesday. Of Kansas’ 13 honorees, 10 received first team accolades (3.20 GPA or higher), while three were named to the second team (3.00-3.19 GPA).
Those honored were Joy Bunting, Carrah Haley, Sarah Hettenbach, Emily Lateigne, Amanda Maez, Mel Heyrman, Stephanie Payne, Alyssa Potter, Brittany Potter and Meg Proehl.
