KU men’s golf takes fifth

? Chris Gilbert shot a career-best 74 and the Kansas University golf team finished in a tie for fifth place on Tuesday at the Columbia Orthopaedic Group Missouri Intercollegiate.

Gilbert tied for ninth place individually.

The Jayhawks shot an 885 (301-282-302) as a team. Nebraska (857) edged Kansas State (858) to win the team title.
