KU track wins eight events in Arkansas

? Kansas University’s track and field team claimed eight individual victories at Saturday’s John McDonnell Invitational.

Highlighting the meet for the Jayhawk women were Taissa Makhmayeva and Kathryn Lupton in the 400-meter hurdles and Lauren Bonds in the 1,500-meter run.

On the men’s side, freshmen Mason Finley and senior Brian Bishop went one-two in the discus.
