KU rowers win Kansas Cup

? The Kansas rowing team made the most of senior day on Saturday by winning the 2010 Kansas Cup, 12-8, in dominating fashion at Wyandotte County Lake. The Jayhawks won the first five races, giving them 12 points and sealing the victory over Kansas State before the last race started.

KU was close to completing a sweep, but K-State won the First Varsity Eight, which was good for eight points. This was the first Kansas Cup victory for Kansas since 2004.
