Kansas University football great Gale Sayers will lead Saturday morning’s KU homecoming parade down Jayhawk Boulevard.
The 50-entry parade will start at 9 a.m. and will feature the Marching Jayhawks and Miss Kansas.
Other homecoming events scheduled for Saturday morning include a pancake feed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the lawn of Stauffer-Flint Hall, a tailgate at the Adams Alumni Center starting at 8:30 a.m., and tours of the Spencer Museum of Art led by its director, Saralyn Reece Hardy.
The homecoming football game against Iowa State is scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff.
