Powers paces Kansas women’s golf

? Kansas University senior golfer Emily Powers shot a 76 and tied for 11th after the first round of the Johnie Imes Invitational on Monday.

The Jayhawks finished the first round in 12th place after shooting a 319. Second-round play was suspended due to darkness.

Tulsa leads the tournament with a 301.

The tournament will conclude today at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
