Cleveland ? The Cleveland Cavaliers have recalled forward Darnell Jackson from the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League, Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry announced Tuesday.
The former KU player was assigned to Erie on Monday and played in the BayHawks’ 102-89 victory over the Utah Flash on Monday night. He scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting (.714) and grabbed six rebounds in 26 minutes.
Jackson played in the Cavaliers’ game against the Pacers on Tuesday night. He had one field-goal attempt.
In 24 games for the Cavaliers this season, he is averaging 1.0 point and 1.2 rebounds in 6.7 minutes per game.
