Against Northwestern, Kansas (2-2) scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth — off a sacrifice fly from Sara Ramirez.
Against Stanford, pitcher Missy Penna held Kansas hitless, but two Cardinal errors put runners on base to prevent a perfect game.
