Kansas junior pitcher T.J. Walz has been named one of 2010’s Top Players by The College Baseball Blog. The site has named the Jayhawk righty one of 100 players to watch for 2010.
Walz, a junior from Omaha, Neb., went 8-3 last season with a 4.70 ERA in 14 starts for KU.
