After placing sixth at the Big 12 Conference women’s golf championships last weekend, Kansas University junior Meghan Gockel was named to the all-tournament team.
It’s the third such honor for a KU golfer since the conference was formed in 1996.
Gockel shot a three-round total of 230 last weekend in Lubbock, Texas, to help the Jayhawks claim a fifth place at the Big 12 Championship, their highest finish in program history.
