? Future Kansas University basketball guard Elijah Johnson scored 11 points off 5-of-6 shooting in the Black Team’s 151-145 loss to the Gold Squad in Saturday’s Derby Festival Classic at Freedom Hall.

Johnson, a 6-2 point guard from Las Vegas’ Cheyenne High, had eight assists against two turnovers in 19 minutes.

After the game, Johnson told kentuckysportsradio.com that he speaks often with Xavier Henry, who has asked out of a letter-of-intent with Memphis and now is also considering KU and Kentucky.

Johnson said Henry, a 6-6 guard from Oklahoma City, was “struggling between Kansas and Kentucky right now.” Johnson said that he thought there was a “65 percent chance he would go to Kansas and 45 percent chance he would attend UK.” The Website noted Henry “may not be the best at percentages, but his instinct that Kansas is a slight favorite may be true.”

Johnson waved a KU shirt to the fans during introductions, drawing boos from a majority of the 13,111 fans. A clip of Johnson’s spectacular dunk to conclude the scoring is available at www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayDdFg63fL4
