Kansas University’s baseball team has added a pair of pitchers, coach Ritch Price announced Wednesday. Junior lefties Sam Freeman (North Central Texas) and Daniel Manos (Santa Ana, Calif.) have both transferred to Kansas from junior colleges.

The junior pitcher posted a 10-1 record with a 3.20 earned-run average and 50 strikeouts in 502â3 innings last season for the Lions. Manos, from Brea, Calif., comes to KU after two years at Santa Ana. Manos made 17 appearances for the Dons last season and recorded a 2-0 record with a 2.31 ERA.
