KU vs. Missouri basketball notebook

¢ KU leads the all-time series, 162-93. KU has won five of the last seven meetings and 10 of the past 13 match-ups.

¢ KU is 82-33 against Missouri in Lawrence, 36-14 in Allen Fieldhouse and has won the last seven matchups in Allen Fieldhouse. Since the inception of the Big 12, KU holds a 15-8 series advantage.

¢ Mizzou has lost three straight games; KU has won nine straight.

¢ Today’s game is the second all-time meeting between KU coach Bill Self and MU’s Mike Anderson. KU beat Anderson’s UAB team, 100-74, in the 2004 Sweet 16 in St. Louis.

¢ MU has lost 11 straight road or neutral-court games. The Tigers haven’t won away from Mizzou Arena since Jan. 10, 2006, at Oklahoma.

¢ With a win, MU would join KU, Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State as the only other Big 12 schools to have reached the 1,400 win plateau.
