Los Angeles ? Morenike Atunrase scored 22 points to lead No. 12 Texas A&M to a 77-52 victory over Loyola Marymount on Saturday night in the championship game of the LMU Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Classic.
The Aggies (5-0) led by 21 points, 36-15, at the 6:34 mark of the first half, and led by double digits the rest of the game. Loyola Marymount (3-2) cut it to 12 points early in the second half, but the Aggies responded and led by at least 15 points the rest of the way.
Three Texas A&M players finished in double digit scoring, led by Atunrase’s 22 points. Takia Starks added 18 points and Patrice Reado had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Atunrase was selected the tournament MVP.
Amanda DeCoud led LMU with 11 points and four assists.
No. 15 Baylor 71, South Dakota State 53
Freeport, Bahamas – Jessica Morrow scored 14 points to help the Bears hand South Dakota State its first loss of the season in the Junkanoo Jam on Grand Bahama Island.
Angela Tisdale added 12 points and 10 assists for Baylor (6-1).
Megan Vogel led South Dakota State (4-1) with 24 points.
Tisdale was selected the tournament MVP for the Lucaya Division of the event.
No. 25 Texas 79, Oral Roberts 40
Austin, Texas – Tiffany Jackson scored 21 points and the Longhorns overcome a sluggish offensive start to beat Oral Roberts.
Erneisha Bailey had her second career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to help Texas (5-1) remain undefeated at home this season.
Mariana Camargo led the Golden Eagles (4-1) with 13 points.

Honolulu – Alesha Robertson had 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Red Raiders (4-1) beat Denver in the consolation bracket of the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Wahine Classic.
