Kickoff for this year’s Sunflower Showdown between Kansas University and Kansas State on Nov. 18 at Memorial Stadium was announced Monday. The game will start at 2:30 p.m., and will be televised by Fox Sports Net (Sunflower Broadband Channel 36).
Kansas (5-5 overall, 2-4 Big 12) will have its first break of the season this upcoming weekend following last week’s 41-10 win over Iowa State up in Ames. K-State earned bowl eligibility with its 34-21 win over Colorado in Boulder, improving the Wildcats to 6-4 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
This means Kansas will finish its regular season with a pair of televised contests. The Jayhawks’ Nov. 25 finale at Missouri will be televised by ABC, kicking off at 11 a.m. in Columbia.
