KU women’s golf 11th at Big 12 Championship

? Kansas University’s women’s golf squad is in 11th place after Monday’s first day of the Big 12 Women’s Championship at Country Club of Lincoln. KU shot an opening-round score of 316 on the par-72 layout.

Sophomore Sarah Kierl leads the Jayhawks after a career-best 76 has her tied for 10th. Senior Chelsey Pryor and junior Amanda Costner each shot a first round 79 and are tied for 32nd place.

The second round is today.
