Austin, Texas ? Kansas University’s rowing squad placed second out of three teams Saturday at the Big 12 Conference Invitational on Town Lake. Texas placed first, and Kansas State was third.
KU set a school record in the 1st Varsity Eight race, placing second in a time of 6:31.5.
KU will travel May 14-15 to the NCAA Regionals in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
