? The Kansas University track and field team, in its first outdoor meet of the season, compiled 12 individual first-place finishes Saturday at the Tulsa Duals.

No team scores were kept, but seven Jayhawks recorded regional qualifying marks along with the 12 first-place finishes.

“Competitors find a way to compete, and that is what we did today,” coach Stanley Redwine said. “There were adverse conditions today; the wind chill was in the 30s. I thought it was awesome to do what we did in these conditions.”

KU will travel April 9 to the State Farm Euler Invitational in Emporia.
