Brandon Rush is starting to intensify his search for a college.
Rush, the 6-foot-6 brother of former University of Missouri standout Kareem Rush who pulled his name out of the NBA Draft in June, visited the University of Illinois on Thursday and Friday.
Rush, who visited Southern Cal in July, told Illinois media he planned to visit Indiana over the weekend and perhaps Kentucky after that.
“He said he was looking at Illinois and Indiana this weekend, USC and Missouri, but the list changes a lot,” said an Illinois media representative.
There has been initial contact between Rush and Kansas University, leading to speculation Rush may also visit KU.
Rush’s AAU coach told rivals.com that the player who attended Mt. Zion Academy the past two years was college eligible with a 2.4 grade-point average and SAT score of 1,030. He has yet to be approved by the NCAA clearinghouse for a scholarship.
