Kansas University women’s basketball players Keila Beachem, Brandi McGinest and Ebony Haliburton will transfer to other schools, KU coach Marian Washington announced Friday.

Beachem, a junior from Chicago, averaged 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds during her two seasons with the Jayhawks. McGinest, a sophomore from Long Beach, Calif., averaged 1.6 points and 0.6 boards in two seasons. Haliburton, a freshman from Overland Park Aquinas, played in 10 games last season, averaging 0.7 points and 0.3 rebounds.

“We certainly wish them the very best,” Washington said.

All three are undecided about their plans, the KU coach added.
