Lance Leipold on KU football’s QBs, facing Texas and more

By Staff     Nov 9, 2021

Kansas football coach Lance Leipold said at his weekly press conference that he still doesn’t know whether starting quarterback Jason Bean will be available this week when the Jayhawks play at Texas.

But Leipold praised the way Jalon Daniels, who was the No. 3 QB a week ago, has responded since KU needed the sophomore QB against Kansas State.

“I really tip my hat to him, because he stayed locked in and prepared,” Leipold said of Daniels. “And I think that showed.”
