Kansas head coach Bill Self spoke to the media via zoom Friday morning, which was one day after Baylor was picked to win the Big 12 conference in this year’s preseason poll.
“I actually agree with that selection,” Self said.
It marks the first time in 10 years that a program other than KU has been picked to win the Big 12 men’s basketball title. It also marks the first time in school history that the Bears have been picked to win the conference.
