Kansas coach Bill Self on 65-62 win over Kentucky in Champions Classic

Despite falling behind by double digits in the first half, No. 7 Kansas found a way to earn a gritty 65-62 win over No. 20 Kentucky Tuesday night inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Redshirt freshman Jalen Wilson led the way for the Jayhawks (2-1) with a career-high 23 points in the win. Wilson also added a career-best 10 rebounds on his way to a double-double.

Junior Ochai Agbaji reached double figures for the third time in as many games with 17 points against Kentucky (1-2) on Tuesday.

KU is now 5-5 in the Champions Classic.
